The manufacturer of transport packaging was looking for a system with which foam boxes could be protected over the long term. That’s why our coater Rüdiger Schmidt recommended QuickSpray Industrial W, a 100% pure 2K polyurea hot spray system, with WRAS drinking water approval, for subsequent coating. The entire box was first pre-treated with a primer. Next, QuickSpray Industrial W mint green (RAL6024) was applied to the box inside and out, using a Graco Reactor HX-P2 heat spray machine. This resulted in a shapely, watertight transport box that is permanently resilient even at very low or very high temperatures. The boxes have already proven themselves in continuous use at a supermarket chain, so the customer is now having further projects carried out.
