Pandora have had leaks through the expansion joints on roofs for a number of years. Torched apply bituminous membrane has been applied without success. Many alternative repair systems are considering such as TPO/PVC membrane or polyurethane for repairing. VIP Coatings was participating and provided the roofing system VIPShield.
The product was tested and successfully approved as a fast curing surface coating system with high mechanical abrasion resistance, no VOC contents, crack bridging ability and stable features for the restoration and waterproofing for the complete roof.

Processing took place in the following steps:

1. The existing bituminous menbrane waterproofing system was removed
2. Grinding surface to remove residue and weak areas
3. Sealant the expansion joints
4. Priming by QuickPrime Epoxy SF SEA at 0.2 kg/m²
5. The aromatic Polyurea QuickSeal PP350 sprayed with 1.8mm thickness

The process was successfully completed within 30 days, not take account raining days.
