Oberoi required a fast curing surface coating system with high impact and long last coating, no cracking and stable features for the Helipad. Application with 1:1 heated, high pressure, plural component equipment. Pressure of time for fast completion and cost advantages favoured QuickSeal MP500 2-component hybrid system derived from a reaction of an Isocyanate and a modified Polyurea/ Polyurethane resin blend.

Processing took place in the following steps:

1. Old 10 mm damaged FRE sheet flooring was removed with high speed machineries
2. Pot holes were repaired and groove was filled
3. Surface was primed and adhesion improved
4. The aromatic Polyurea QuickSeal MP500 was applied with heated, high pressure spray equipment at 3 mm thickness
5. Top Coat over cured Polyurea was applied

The complete process of surface-preparation and application of base coat was successfully completed within 12 days.
