VIP`s applicator BSB from Brandenburg near Berlin has now adapted their proven coating system for ambulance cars to include QuickSpray and QuickCoat Polyureas from VIP and completed the first ambulance with the new VIP System. To save time and money BSB choose QuickSpray Industrial (aromatic), a 100% pure Polyurea 2-K Coating based on Prepolymer and Polyamine technology, as well as the similar but colourfast QuickCoat-Base Protect (aliphatic) for an optically pleasing surface.

Work could be completed in 4 easy steps:

1. The Ambulance was masked utilising VIP’s special Nylon Wire Trim tape.
2. Thant the QuickSpray Industrial (aromatic) was applied using a GRACO E-10 machine with a Fusion gun and a 20/20 spray chamber at 120 bar pressure and 65 °C.
3. Within a few minutes the QuickCoat-Base Protect (aliphatic) was applied using an Airless System.
4. After 30-60 minutes the Basecoat was applied again in the overspray technique to achieve a uniform structured surface.

All steps could be completed in a very short space of time without any odour and very little overspray.
