As the specifications called for a GRP liner, several discussions were held with Dubai Municipality to change the liner from GRP to polyurea. As a result, our technology has increased the quality and performance of the project and minimized the execution time. The material was supplied by VIP-Delta Co., the former distributor of the VIP product range in the UAE.

1. The concrete has been pressure washed and cleaned of any residue that could impair adhesion
2. QuickFill and QuickPrime Epoxy were applied as a primer prior to spraying
3. The Polyurea QuickSpray Industrials was applied with a layer thickness of 2.5 mm using the Graco XP-2 high-pressure spray unit
4. The whole process of surface preparation and application of the primer was successfully completed within 4 months despite extreme conditions in the underground tunnel infrastructure
