The VIP partner Corroless Eastern Ltd. was commissioned to implement a permanent renovation and sealing solution for damaged waste water tanks. The existing HDPE liner was badly damaged, allowing the effluent to leak into the surrounding soil, posing an environmental hazard.

Corroless suggested using a seamless spray membrane made of polyurea due to the high demands placed on the elasticity and tensile strength of the material. The existing HDPE liner was cut into sections and removed from the tank. Due to years of exposure to penetrating sewage, the underlying substrate was heavily soiled and had to be thoroughly cleaned. The VIP polyurea coating was then applied using the hot spray method.
