The Viceroy Dubai Palm Jumeirah is an extraordinary landmark on the trunk of the Palm in Jumeirah. It offers a convenient location for easy access to Dubai’s business districts as well as the city’s many exciting tourist and entertainment attractions. The new hotel has 477 spacious guest rooms and suites on 16 floors. For the coating of the swimming pools and wellness areas, the hotel needed a fast-curing, aesthetic and easy-to-clean waterproofing system. Due to the extensive experience and excellent reputation of VIP Coatings, the operators opted for a VIP system solution. Despite the enormous time pressure and the extreme environmental conditions, the project was carried out to the complete satisfaction of the owners by experienced processors in cooperation with VIP application technology.

The processing took place in 4 steps:

1. Concrete preparation and cleaning
2. Primer for better binding of the surface with the coating membrane
3. The aromatic Polyurea QuickSeal PP 350 was applied using the hot spray method
4. Finished with a valuable PU finish
