The processing took place in 2 steps:

1. The pipes were pre-treated with QuickPrime 2K-Epoxy SF primer to improve adhesion and as a vapor barrier
2. After 4 hours, the aromatic Polyurea QuickSpray was applied using the hot spray method and an improved surface finish without overspray was achieved

PU Nederland got the order from VIP to coat a 700m long pipeline. For reasons of time and cost, the client decided on QuickSpray Industrial S (aromatic), a 100% polyurea 2K coating material based on polyurea. These work steps were successfully completed in a very short time for 300 pipes, 90×240 cm. With the deployment at the customer in Nijmegen of one team each for the Quickprime 2K-Epoxy SF and the QuickSpray Industrial S, a large number of pipes can now be made ready for dispatch within 1-2 days.
