Roller Coasters, Fun Fair Attractions, an Aquapark with Wave Pool, Childrens Water Play Area, various Slides, a Wild River and lots of fun – all this is offered by Farup Sommarland. The Amusement Park is located North of Aalborg in Northern Jytland in Denmark, and the Wild River recently had to be renewed. It is a 900 m² area of three concrete slides, which is linked to the other slides and water features in the Aquapark. The old Polyurethane coating was worn out and no longer functional, and our partner Nordrep A/S from Hirtshals was asked to renew the coating. Together, we decided on a customized LeisureLine Supreme System and added foam to replicate a soft solution over this very bumpy Wild River ride.

The chosen system will provide a long term-solution that will last for years to come. After applying our Quickprime 2K Epoxy SF primer on the concrete surface, a special soft PU Foam was applied,using our Quickfill Joint Filling System, as well as an aromatic Hybrid for bonding down the foam. This was followed by the aliphatic, colour-stable Quickspray Supreme AL flex over the whole Wild River slide areas. This provides a smooth soft, yet gliding surface for the optimal Wild River experience. Our European technical specialist Marko Gubanc was on site twice, to guide Nordrep A/S through the project and even under the difficult weather conditions the applicator managed to complete the job in time, for the Parks opening in early June.
