The lobby of the hotel is situated directly above a water tank located at the basement. Water marks could be seen coming up from the floor and after a thorough investigation, it was concluded that moisture was coming from up the water tank below to the floor through osmosis process. In order to resolve this issue, a layer of QuickSeal MP500 was applied above the tiles to prevent further moisture from rising to the ground level. Process include mechanical grinding, application of primer and application of 2mm QuickSeal MP500. The restoration process was completed in 2 weeks.
