VIP Coatings has successfully supported Sungroup with providing our Polyurea Coating Solutions to the iconic Fountain Area of “The world’s largest sandstone statue of Maitreya Buddha” at Ba Den Mountain. The project was finished on time within 45 days, opening on January 23rd 2024.

Despite the multiple challenges arised during the application of polyurea, such as the high relative humidity in the mountain area and difficult application conditions due to high density of pillars and joints, this application was a total succes.

VIP Coatings team has contributed its expertise in proposing and implementing a pure polyurea coating solution for the fountain area, while our approved applicator did a great job in supporting us with the whole application process.

The Polyurea QuickSeal PP350 Graphite Black was applied with a layer thickness of 2 mm using the Graco XP-2 high-pressure spray unit.
