The main task of the project was to provide the water tanks with a permanent anti-corrosion coating in addition to the thermal insulation, since the tanks belong to the Dubai Creek Harbor District Cooling Pplant and should contain cold water for cooling.

VIP approved applicator V-Care Waterproofing LLC prepped the steal sue blast and applied polyurethane foam to the steel shells for an even smooth finish and trimmed off any extras. This is followed by 2mm of our Quickseal PP350 pure polyurea flexibility coating.

Whilst Quickseal PP350 is UV resistant, to maintain color stability under permanent UV exposure, a UV resistant color stable topcoat was applied immediately after application of the polyurea topcoat.
