In July, VIP Coatings and Berger Paints India met in India for a Tech Training Event.

The complete Berger team has been thoroughly trained to ensure highest quality Technical Services and Applications for Polyurea and Polyaspartic systems made in India. Be Safe with VIP!

On the first training day at Berger’s Howrah plant, the QuickSpray Xpress pneumatic spray gun was installed and demonstrated by VIP’s Head of Technical Services Dem Bojang and Ashish Kumar, Technical Sales India. Around 18 people of Berger from different regions came to participate in the training. Mr. Sanjay, Head of the Berger Protecton Business Unit himself could test the gun and cartridges. Also Mr. Ravichandran, Senior Product Manager, R&D Manager Debrata Pal and National Sales Manager Deepak got a feel of the gun and spraying.

On the second day of the training Berger CEO Abhijit Roy and VIP CEO Alexander Voelkel presented Berger VIP’s marketing and sales strategy. Focus shall be an integrated system approach, selective OEM and Retail markets combined with superb Technical Support and highest quality standards.

Part 1 of the final day of training began with a brief presentation on spray equipment held by Graco. The EXP2 Graco reactor was explained and some critical check points to make sure spraying works properly.

In the 2nd part, VIP’s material QuickSeal MP500 was sprayed under the supervision of VIP’s Head of Technical Services to understand the machine setup and the correct way to spray polyurea.

The event was a great success, and we thank all participants for the very interesting and informative exchange. With this newly gained know-how, nothing stands in the way of new and successful projects.
