Mountain View Crystal Lagoon

This 10,000 m² project included the waterproofing and coating of the very first Crystal Lagoons for Mountain View in Egypt. Using advanced polyurea spray technology, VIP Coatings created a seamless and highly durable protection layer for 9,000 m² of beach areas and 1,000 m² of water feature walls.

VIP Coatings Egypt delivered and applied the polyurea spray waterproofing system for the famous Mountain View Ras El Hekma project on the North Coast. To make sure the system lasts long under tough weather and constant water contact, our team prepared the ground perfectly and applied the right primer first.

Our main job was to waterproof the water feature walls and the large beach zones. We chose spray-applied polyurea because it dries extremely fast, easily covers cracks, and is tough enough for heavy use. A great feature of this project is the sand-effect finish. By mixing in anti-slip glass beads, we made sure the beach areas are safe to walk on while keeping a natural beach look.

Now that the job is done, this premium development has a reliable, seamless barrier that stops water leaks, protects the concrete, and keeps future maintenance low. This great result was only possible thanks to the teamwork, commitment, and great collaboration with the developer Mountain View, the consultants from ACE, and all our partners.
