The design of the Misk Foundation Headquarters emphasizes environmental sustainability and targets LEED Gold certification, reflecting a strong commitment to green building practices and a healthy, energy-efficient work environment. VIP Coatings successfully supplied the VIPShield waterproofing system to IKK-BMC, the certified applicator for the project. The podium and planter box waterproofing works covered a total area of 15,000 m².
The system consisted of a two-component, solvent-free epoxy primer (QUICKPRIME 2K EPOXY SF), followed by the application of QUICKSEAL PP350, a high-performance, hot-sprayed pure polyurea coating applied at 2 mm thickness. This advanced solution ensures a seamless, durable, and long-lasting waterproofing system, ideally suited for high-profile and sustainable structures.
