When the Omani Water Authority wanted to rehabilitate their water reservoirs in Buraimi, they turned to VIP Coatings for a solution. The reservoirs were originally constructed of concrete in 2006 with no inner liner. The agency wanted to protect an important resource while extending the useful life of the reservoirs. LIQUIDSHIELD Aqua was chosen as the preferred system as it is approved for potable use and offers a seamless membrane that will significantly extend the life of the containers. The project was supplied by VIP distributor Colossal and the application was carried out by Anticor.
